Closet is a recurring character and an occasional antagonist in Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse. He lives in Barbie's closet, getting his name "Closet", and despite his name, he has a rather robotic stick figure of an appearance with a rounded pink head, pink arms, and one red eye in the middle of his face which the robot sclera (lens) is black.
In Closet's debut episode, Closet is set to "good", causing him to be … well, relatively evil. When switched back, his personality becomes more amiable. However, in the second episode he is featured in he has jealousy issues and resorts to sabotage, which is "The Upgradening". Closet is rather funny (to most people) and has quite a personality for a robot. Then again, Ken made him... He has a tendency to identify people through their relationship to Barbie. For example, Teresa is referred to as "Barbie's chatty friend".
Skills[]
Closet can actually fall for the LOSERS images, and catalog every piece of wardrobe and accessory that Barbie owns. Using its superior central processing unit, it can determine the "mathematically correct ensemble." He also has complete control of the Dreamhouse's electronic functions.
Relationships[]
Closet believes to have a father/son relationship with CLOSET, because he said "Sorry, Father" to Ken in The Upgradening. However, he instantly denied this afterwards.
Closet's sentience is a parody of Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy's dog Toto pulls away a curtain to show the wizard, who says, "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain". In "The Upgradening", Barbie's dog Taffy pulls away a curtain to show the Closet, who says, "Pay no attention to the robot behind the curtain".
There is a running joke where Closet wants to eat sherbet but always gets left out.
Closet has the artificial intelligence and can take over the entire Dreamhouse with the flip of a switch behind a mirror in Barbie's closet
